My most recent published release was on February 15, 2022.
In late June 2024, my web designer informed me that my remaining EIN press releases were due to expire in two weeks.
We also learned that the Delaware legislature had approved a bill legalizing assisted suicide and euthanasia. The governor, John Carney, was to the best of our knowledge undecided. We decided to use one of the press releases, to encourage him to reject the bill.
We prepared the press release, using language similar to our prior release.
We understood that the release would be going out on the wire on or about July 1, 2024. EIN Presswire, however, rejected our release, saying that we had to strike out our last paragraph.
We couldn’t see anything wrong with the paragraph, but with the shortage of time, we agreed to the strikeout.
EIN wrote us back telling us that we would need another strikeout, then subsequently struck our press release completely out.
On or about Monday July 1, 2024, I self-published a press release directly to Governor Carney. which can be viewed here: https://www.choiceillusiondelaware.org/2024/07/press-release-bill-seeking-to-legalize.html
On July 2, 2024, I self-published nearly identical releases to my personal contacts.
I subsequently saw that EIN had turned its site back on.
Too little, too late.
I still have to pay my web designer. He incurred substantial time and effort trying to make EIN happy.
Thank you for listening.
